Privacy

• Matching, previews and exports run in your browser. Full-resolution files are not uploaded.
• When SI analysis runs, a downscaled preview of your shot and the reference (up to about 1,000 px) is sent to our server and on to our SI processing provider, which returns a description and settings.
• When you run SI Precise Match, a roughly 1-megapixel copy of your shot and the reference is sent the same way and CinemaLut SI returns a regraded image.
• When you use an image link as a reference, our server fetches that image for you and passes it straight back to your browser.
• We don’t store any of these images. Our SI processing provider handles them only to return the result, as our contracted service provider, and doesn’t use them to train its models.

Stripe processes payments and stores your email, payment details, purchase history, credit balance and Pro status. We see your email and what you bought, never your full card number. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal duty to keep tax and accounting records (usually 10 years).

• cl_customer: a signed cookie that remembers which buyer you are after checkout (1 year). Needed to use credits and Pro.
• cl_precise_free: records that this browser used its free SI Precise Match (1 year).
• My looks: looks you save are kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us.

We use no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps short-lived request logs including IP addresses for security and reliability. Our servers briefly hold IP addresses in memory to limit how often paid SI features can be used. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and affordable.

• An SI processing provider for SI analysis and SI Precise Match, in the United States. Ask us for its name at any time.

Transfers outside the EU rely on the providers’ standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, object to processing, restrict it, or receive it in a portable form, by emailing support@cinemalut.si. We reply within a month. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or where we are established.
